The Full Story about the silversmiths

Together we have come a long way since then, and I've seen their village grow from a dusty dilapidated cluster of wooden ramshackle huts on stilts along dirt tracks, with no running water, electricity, or land phone lines, to a relatively prosperous village with concrete roads, brick houses, pick up trucks, satellite tv, and a local school.

I was responsible for introducing the first cell phone and transmission antenna to the village, as there was no landline phone service and I needed to communicate with them frequently, which was not possible as they, nor I had a car for the 3-hour commute to the city of Chiang Mai, where I had my studio.
